Finding Water at Gravesend

A team effort of drilling, solar pump installation, and water infrastructure installation.

We recently met with our clients onsite at Gravesend to discuss a water solution for their house and farm. After a drive around the property and discussions it was decided to organise Scott and Sam from FB Drilling to drill a bore.

The boys did a great job finding a substantial amount of water, almost more than the client needed or could use. Our team at Gwydir Water Services professionally installed a four panelled Lorentz Solar System providing our client with 18,000 litres of water per day to 2 x 5000 gallon poly water tanks, providing water for the house and several water troughs for their stock.

We employed Kc and Wayne Edwards from Kc’s Rural Contracting Services to run and hook up 4km of polypipe to 7 new concrete troughs and the two water tanks. The boys did a fantastic job and we highly recommend their services.

FB Drilling drilled the hole and installed river pebbles packed around the casing and an extra high steel cased pipe due to the flood plain the bore was positioned at.
